Another 37" salmon

Awesome time salmon fishing with my buddy, Steve, his son, and my brother-in- law. Hooked into quite a few fish. I landed three.  The salmon were running like crazy.

It's nice to spend time with your buddies who enjoy the same things you do. Lord willing, we can do it again next year. But until then it's bow season and I won't be fishing until there's ice.

Fresh Salmon Dinner

I cooked up the salmon from my August fishing trip. I'm not a fancy cook by any means so I kept it simple.

First I soaked it in milk for a few hours. Then I put some dry lemon seasoning over it and cooked it in a frying pan with lots of butter.

That's my kind of cooking and man did it taste delicious.

Caught this salmon in Michigan while fishing with my buddy Steve and his three sons. 
The first salmon I caught was 34 inches long and the second one I caught was 37 1/2 inches long and weighed over 20 pounds.

This was an awesome trip and I am thankful for God allowing me to catch these fish!
